August/September 2008

Dear Partners in the Wall,

To understand this letter's greeting, please read on—I will try to impart to you some unusual, and what I believe to be Holy Spirit given, happenings of late. Whether or not I should share them with you has been a matter of prayerful consideration for several weeks. I am mindful, however, that when the Lord sent the 120 to the upper room, He told them before hand what would happen (Acts 1:4,5,8). So, I am impressed to share with you what has happened and what we believe can happen at our Autumn Assembly of Prayer.

Chronologically here is how and what has transpired.

Sunday, June 29 at the 3 O'clock PM Corporate Prayer Meeting
The people who meet here regularly have been praying together for a while and are able to "move as one" in prayer. This afternoon we seemed to be taken up into a higher place. The following prophetic word came through Billye Brim. "There is one thing that will save America. And it is not the election. It is an awakening to God. There is one thing that will avail for Israel and the nations and that is an awakening to God."

We were impressed with the importance of prayer preceding any awakening. Then we were impressed that our Autumn prayer meeting here in Branson October 23 through 27 is of some special significance. We were instructed to begin now to prepare ourselves for this meeting. And we were instructed to tell the people who are coming to prepare themselves before they come.

How? We wondered. How shall we tell the people who are coming to prepare themselves?

We decided to make it a matter of daily prayer. We would each pray in our own homes. We would write down any instruction we might receive. Then at Sunday prayer on July 13, then two weeks away, we would meet again and share what we had received.

Monday, July 7 about 8 O'clock AM
My home phone rang. It was Zona Hayes-Morrow, Norvel Hayes' daughter. She told me there was a man in their congregation in whom she and her father had confidence. "In fact," she said, "when we have to be away, he sometimes ministers for us." She said that he was not one who ever called her and said that he had a word for someone. This is not like him, she stressed. But he had called her and said that he believed he had a word from the Lord for Billye Brim and for Prayer Mountain. He told her that he did not know me. So he asked her to call me. She said, "Billye, I believe it will be a blessing to you and to Prayer Mountain."

I called him right away.

When his wife answered the phone, I could hear in her soft spoken southern voice humility, holiness, and godliness. When Reverend Jesse Eugene Wiseman came to the phone I heard the same qualities. In their voices I heard goodness and reverence for God. Such reverence that they would not dare tell you they heard something from the Lord if they were not as certain as is humanly possible that they had.

Brother Wiseman apologized that he did not really know me. Nor did he know much at all about our ministry. He did know that Brother Norvel and Zona had me come and minister for them from time to time, but he said he was always away ministering when I came. He also stressed that he did not call people and give them words.

He said something to this effect, "I grew up in church and I've seen so much that just turned me off. So I've always thought like this. 'Let's just love God and serve God. There's a place for those who love God and will serve God and just be themselves.' " But he went on to say that he was sure what he'd seen was from God.

He had a night vision on April 13. When he looked at the clock it was 3:30 AM. This is how he described that vision the first time we talked by phone:

A voice spoke saying: There are ambers lying all over the ground on Prayer Mountain.
In the first scene of the vision there was a gathering. I knew it was a Christian gathering. It was not a structured church service. However, it was a good Full Gospel, Charismatic type meeting.
I turned to look at the next scene. I had pre-meditated on what I would see. What I expected to see were people gathered around a bon fire. But I did not see that. What I saw was a wall. It was about 15 feet high and about 10 feet thick. The wall was the color of fire. In it were what looked like pieces of steel, which were in a fire and had taken on the color and essence of fire. Those pieces were people. They made up the wall. Out from the wall people were gathered around it and they were also of this substance.
Then I looked upon the third scene. It was as if I stood on a high mountain and looked down upon the earth. It was dark. As dark as the night sky. But as in a night sky stars shine brightly, in this darkness there were lights much brighter than the darkness. These lights were people. Again the voice spoke: There are ambers lying all over the ground at Prayer Mountain.

After the vision, he kept hearing my name, Billye Brim. Brother Wiseman was impressed of the Lord that the vision was not only for him, but also for others, and it was for Billye Brim. He was to contact me and relate it to me.

He telephoned his two daughters. His daughter in Tennessee, and his other daughter and her husband in a meeting in Florida had received visions that same night. One of the daughters knew me and had been in a Prayer Mountain Prayer Meeting. She said, "Daddy, did you know Billye Brim calls her ministry Prayer Mountain?" He did not know that.

In praying about the vision, he was ready to dismiss the part he had pre-meditated about the people around the bonfire. The Lord impressed him not to do that. He was made to know that thought was given him to identify the season. When do people gather around a bonfire? In the Fall. He was made to know the vision had to do with the Fall. And he feels it especially has to do with the Prayer Mountain Prayer Meeting. (Sometime ago, we decided to call this year's meeting, The Autumn Assembly of Prayer.) He knew he had to call me. So he asked Zona to help him get in touch with me.

Upon hearing the vision, I knew it was the answer we'd been praying for. I asked him if he would share the vision by phone with our Prayer Mountain pray-ers the next Sunday afternoon. I wanted them to hear it in his voice.

Sunday July 13, 2008, 3 O'clock Corporate Prayer Meeting
County officials termed the lightning storm that hit here on Saturday night the worst one on record. Internet and telephones went off here on the mountain. But the phones in the Administration building were ready for the anointed phone call. The people were also ready. Word had spread and we had a full house.
The telephone connection was made. I spoke a few words of introduction relating to our prayer meeting two weeks prior. I did not tell the people Brother Wiseman's vision. I turned the meeting to him and asked him to do so.

Reverend Wiseman's anointed account was profound. Its message to me was deep with meaning. It was especially so in light of the fact that he knew so little about us, and especially about our work in Israel.

Our Prayer Mountain Pray-ers were reverently hushed in the presence of experiencing the answers from God we had sought for two weeks, but had not expected in such a supernatural way.

He began with the ambers. When he asked the Lord about them, the Lord simply said, Study.

He first went to the Bible and found references in Ezekiel. I know from my study that this Hebrew word chasmal is very difficult for even the Jews to interpret. So I'm not sure these references are what the ambers in the vision represented. Although they are connected to fire and glory.

Through what he learned in studying about ambers, however, and what others in our meeting shared we learned that amber is fossilized resin. It is a gem, but is not mineral. It was a living organism. Amber is a near perfect preservative. Much of the world's amber came from the cedars of Lebanon.

John Simpers, who with his wife Lynn, lives near Prayer Mountain was led that day to bring a piece of amber from his collection of stones to our prayer meeting. (We had told John and Lynn about the vision.) He rushed in and then rushed out on his way to a fire department meeting. He dropped into my hands a plastic bag containing a hunk of amber labeled: Fungus, Gnats, Spider.

Two men at the prayer meeting, who were educated in physics and chemistry, explained that the DNA of what is preserved in amber is well kept, and can be examined after long periods of time. Amber also sometimes contains seeds. And this seemed to have much to do with the interpretation of the vision.
The Lord also spoke to Brother Wiseman about embers. Embers represented a piece of fuel, wood or coal, etc., which were the remains of a fire. They only need oxygen to ignite and become a flame.

From what Brother Wiseman shared, we gathered that at the Fall meeting, the Lord is going to breathe upon embers and bring them to a flame. Ambers in people will release seed preserved from the past. A sweet-smelling fragrance.

Much was said about ordination. A divine ordination to a new position. To new orders.

As I write, I cannot find words to adequately express these things. So—I am making available to you the CD of Brother Wiseman's explanation of the vision. This is holy. There will be no charge to you. However, I do feel it is important that it go only to those who want it. So—it will be sent only to those who write or call for it. We will also include a fax from July 17 in which Brother Wiseman relates a further word he received.

Preparing Ourselves
How do I prepare myself for this meeting?
What am I to do in helping those who are coming to prepare?
Certain things, of course, come readily to mind. To pray. Maybe to fast and pray. To seek God. To practice His Presence.
I am praying about this for myself and for you. We are praying at Prayer Mountain. But one thing seems to be emphasized in my spirit. Come expecting.

Love in Him,

Billye Brim

P.S. Now I don't want to leave the impression we will not be joining in prayer about these important elections. We will pray "in the spirit" about America's elections. However, I believe we are being called to look beyond man to God for a spiritual awakening. And for an arising to a new ordination and glorification to finish the good works He has ordained for us to do in this last hour. (Ephesians 2:10, John 17:1, 4.)
