What a Day!!! And to tell the truth the day began yesterday. Our tour group of 67 is part of about 1000 believers who came from across America, and even from Australia, Thailand, Canada, etc to be a part of Christian’s United For Israel’s Jerusalem Summit. We have met in meetings where Jews and Christians came together in what may be an unprecedented way. It’s hard for me to put it all into words.
Today, we marched 1000 strong down Jaffa Street behind an Israeli dance corp. Flags waved. American flags. Israeli flags. Large flags from every state represented. People lining the streets as we dance-marched by wiped tears from their eyes. They waved. One man waved a large note he’d quickly made saying THANK YOU!!!
An Australian couple joined our group after watching the live streaming of our Prayer Conference in Branson last October and hearing us tell about this trip. The husband is wearing the famous Australian hat with one side of the brim up, and emu feathers waving softly from it. An older Israeli gentleman said to him, “It’s been 67 years since I saw that hat. Are you still with us?” He remembered the great part Australia has played since the liberation of Jerusalem from the Ottoman Empire.
Two Orthodox women were so moved by John Hagee’s words last night they said, “He should be our Prime Minister. Our politicians are afraid to talk like that.”
