Yesterday was the first day of this important ministry trip. More about that as it happens. But last night I received a confirmation that we are in the right place at the right time. No one will understand this unless you have been “up on” the Reverend Gene Wiseman vision regarding “Ambers.” (If you are not, you can request a mailing of this from our office by phone.)
Anyway, for those of you who are…
We were invited to dinner at the home of Chita, our Philippine friend. When I came in the door, she handed me a gift. And almost immediately began explaining the gift.
She had purchased perfume to give me, but began to say to herself, Billye Brim probably has all kinds of perfume, What can I give her???
She then read the reading for the day, November 3, in her Read Through the Bible in One Year as published by Tyndale, The NLT version. It was from Ezekiel and included Ezekiel 1:26. The word amber had an asterisk by it. And the thought entered her mind. I have some amber I could give Billye Brim. She had lived in Saudi Arabia while her American husband was there on business. While there she collected amber “to have something to do.” She bought it from Bedouins.
Having made her decision, she “googled” how to clean amber. Then she washed a beautiful amber bead necklace in warm water and rubbed it with olive oil.
When she presented her gift, she noticed how wide my eyes opened in surprise. I thought she had heard all that had transpired lately about ambers and the word of the Lord.
She had heard nothing!!! In the natural, that is. I know she heard from the Holy Ghost.
To me it is confirmation that we are in the right place at the right time. And the Lord has some special gifts treasured in ambers here in France. I feel like Josephus, the historian when he reported on all the signs God gave more than one year before the destruction of the Second Temple. He said that what he observed was that God was a sign-giving God. I agree. And so does the Word of God.
Love in Him
Billye Brim
