Roberta Hromas is the granddaughter of Brother Charles Parham, whom the Lord used to bring in a renewal of the baptism with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with tongues, with the beginning of the 20th Century in Topeka, Kansas. She is an anointed leader in the Body of Christ, and I am pleased to call her my friend.
She has done us a service to combine these prayer alerts into one document. Please take these to heart. We will be joining from Prayer Mountain in the Ozarks.

Dear Praying Friends,

I am writing to inform you of several upcoming opportunities to unite in prayer for America. We know that our nation was established to get the Gospel to the nations of the world and I do not believe that He is through with us yet. Many millions of Christians also feel the same way.

I want to encourage you to take part in some of the upcoming Prayer Initiatives that are taking place in the next few months. If you cannot attend in person, it is important for you to know about these so you can agree in prayer from wherever you live.

I want to also encourage you to consider bringing a group of 8-12 people to the Sanctuary of Prayer in Washington, DC for 3-6 nights and be a part of the 24/7 prayer for America in the Prayer Chapel. If you would like more information or would like to schedule a date, please contact our office.

Following are some key dates to mark on your calendar:

On Patriot Day, September 11, Christians in all 50 states gathered at their county courthouses to pray for America. The call from Joel 1:14 was to "Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly...and cry out to the Lord" There is one remedy for our nation - Jesus. Learn more about it at www.awakeningamerica.us.

Beginning September 28 and continuing for 40 days until our national election, millions of Christians throughout America and around the world will be joining in prayer for out nation. God is simply using what's important to us - the elections, to accomplish what's important to Him - mobilizing a praying church. Coinciding with the launch of the 40 days of prayer, on September 28 and 29, America for Jesus - A National Solemn Assembly will take place on Independence Mall in Philadelphia. America is in a state of emergency! Concerned leaders are convinced that America is headed in the wrong direction. The nation is in desperate need of a spiritual awakening and revival! The answer lies with God's people who are called by His name. Join us in Philadelphia, PA at the birthplace of our nation, as we gather together in fasting and prayer. Unite with thousands of believers at this massive history-making event. Take a stand for Jesus Christ and let your voice be heard!

From October 3-7, several hundred praying leaders will come to our nation's capital for The Summons - A Solemn Assembly in Washington, DC. This is a moment in time for God's people to stand in the gap on behalf of all Americans. This special prayer gathering will focus on all institutions of government within Washington, DC including prayer at the Capitol Building, the White House, the Supreme Court, the Pentagon and the Washington Monument. We all know that we are living in unprecedented times. Our nation is at a spiritual crossroads. Even as the enemy has great plans to destroy our nation, the Lord is raising up an army of intercessors to pray for America like we have not seen in a very long time. Let's all commit to cry out to God for His mercy on our nation and that He would pour out His Spirit on us once again.
